What is the Digital Kit?
The Digital Kit is a public financial aid program financed by the Next Generation funds of the European Union aimed at the self-employed and SMEs in Spain that will contribute to the adoption of technological solutions for their digitization.
The Digital Kit has a budget of 3,067 million euros and is part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, the Digital Spain 2025 agenda and the SME Digitalization Plan 2021-2025.
Main features of the Digital Kit program
- KIT DIGITAL program offers companies and freelancers different packages (or kits) with digital solutions.
- The digital solutions will be carried out by digitizing agents certified by Red.es. CORRECTA will be one of the approved companies to carry out your project.
- To find out which solution is the most suitable for your business, it is essential that you carry out a self-diagnosis test on your business on the Acelera Pyme platform. The result of this test will determine your company’s level of digital intensity and which solution or solutions are right for your business. We will help you through this process to apply for the program.
- The call has not yet been published, but is expected to be published next February 2022.
- The grant will be awarded on a non-competitive basis. That is, in order of entry.
- Once granted, you will have 6 months to spend the aid. You will be able to choose up to 5 one-year digital solutions.
Who can apply for European funds for the digitization of SMEs?
The program establishes three segments of beneficiaries, depending on the size of their company, which will receive economic aid in the form of a digital voucher.
Segment I: companies with between 10 and 49 employees may receive a digital bonus of €12,000.
Segment II: companies with between 3 and 9 employees may receive a digital bonus of €6,000.
Segment III: companies with 1 and 2 employees and freelancers may receive a digital bonus of €2,000.
The beneficiary companies may receive up to a maximum of 12,000 € in grants to be used in the digitization of their businesses by choosing the digitizing solutions of the Digital Kit that best suit the needs of their businesses.
In order to access the Digital Kit, they must do so through one or more digitalizing agents that can be found on the Acelera pyme page.
The latter is important because the digitizing companies are the ones that will accompany the companies throughout the application process.

Requirements to be a beneficiary of the Digital Kit program
- Comply with the General Law of Subsidies.
- Have less than 50 employees*.
- To be registered in the Census of businessmen, professionals and withholders of the State Agency of Tax Administration (Agencia Estatal de Administración Tributaria).
- Not to be considered as a company in crisis.
- Be up to date with tax and Social Security obligations.
- Not to exceed the de minimis aid limit (€200,000).
- Have completed the diagnostic test of the Digital Kit program.
*(The categorization of companies and amounts to be received will be based on the number of employees detailed in the table of beneficiary company segments).
